Leafs Place Enroth on Waivers

The Toronto Maple Leafs have placed goaltender Jhonas Enroth on wavers today in hopes to move him to the AHL. This announcement come just under a week after his last start in Calgary where Enroth allowed 2 goals in the first 49 seconds of the game on pace to a 3-0 Leafs loss. Enroth has not had the most successful stint with The Toronto Maple Leafs, after being signed as a free agent this past off season. Enroth has yet to record a win in 4 starts with a record of 0-3-1 and a 3.94 GAA. Last Season while with the LA Kings Enroth started in 13 game and picked up 7 wins with a 2.17 GAA

This move for The Leafs will lead to one of 2 things happening they will either call up a goalie form their AHL affiliate The Toronto Marlies or will sign goaltender Karri Rämö who has been practicing with the team for the better part of the last 2 months.
