Dvorak sent down to Tucson

On Tuesday, the Arizona Coyotes sent down rookie forward Christian Dvorak to the Tucson Roadrunners of the AHL. Dvorak has dressed in 12 games for the Coyotes this season scoring 1 goal and 4 assists. The 20-year-old was drafted by the Coyotes back in the 2014 NHL entry draft in the second round, 58th overall.

Dvorak had an amazing season with the London Knights of the OHL last season, scoring a league-leading 52 goals, and backed it up with 69 assists in 59 regular season games. The 187-pound forward did not stop there as he continued his success in the playoffs and Memorial Cup scoring a total of 21 goals and 25 assists in only 22 games. Dvorak was named to the CHL Memorial Cup All-Star Team and OHL First All-Star team last season as the Knights went on to win both the OHL and Memorial Cup.
