It appears Cam Ward has not lost his stuff.

On Tuesday night, the Carolina Hurricanes faced the San Jose Sharks at the PNC Centre, where Ward recorded his first shutout of the season. The 32-year-old made 22-saves in the victory, recording his first set of back-to-back wins this season. At 10:48 of the 3rd period, Joakim Nordstrom scored the game-winning goal assisted by Viktor Stalberg.

The goaltender from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan extended his ties with the Hurricanes at the end of the season signing a 2-year deal worth $6.8 million. At the time, critics were skeptical of the signing, believing Eddie Lack was ready to take over the reigns as the Hurricanes starting goaltender.

It will be a while before we hear from the Ward haters again.
