Left Winger Ben Hanowski signs with the Augsburger Panther of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga in Germany.

The 24 year old forward recorded 16 goals, 25 pts in 56 games for the Adirondack Flames of the AHL last year. The 6 foot 2, 194 pound American also has a total of 3 pts in 16 games for the Flames.

Hanowski was drafted in the 3rd round, 63rd overall in 2009 by the Pittsburgh Penguins before heading to Calgary in the infamous Jarome Iginla trade in 2013.
