Perron indicated Sunday that he had been playing through a rib injury in the playoffs, Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports.

Perron recorded 1 point in 5 games during the playoffs for the Pens. During the season, the winger recorded 22 points in 43 games for the Pens and 19 points in 38 games for the Oilers.

The 26-year-old winger will be looking for a much bigger season next year, as he finishes the last year on his contract.
