Sabres Cody Hodgson Injured

Buffalo Sabres Centerman Cody Hodgson is out for a few weeks with a broken hand that he suffered during play with Rochester of the AHL. Hodgson says he suffered the injury after being slashed by Brandon Manning of the Adirondack Phantoms. Hodgson has had a great season so far in the AHL picking up 10 points in 9 games of play. He has played a total of 91 games in the NHL regular season within his career splitting time with Vancouver and Buffalo. He has scored a total of 20 goals and 23 assist in the 91 games. He also played a 12 playoff games with Vancouver from the 2010-11 season where he picked up an assist and no goals. Hodgson was originally drafted 10th overall by the Vancouver Canucks in the 2008 draft.
