1.  Matteau Undisciplined

Highly touted prospect Stefan Matteau, playing for Blainville-Boisbriand in the QMJHL has already been suspended twice in a month. His actions included being the aggressor in a fight and checking from behind.

2. Injured Prospects

Two of the Devils top 5 prospects are currently out due to injuries. Merrill is out with a minor neck fracture (looking to return end of December), and Gelinas is out indefinatly with a fractured Jaw.

3. Albany Devils Need More Scoring

The leading scorer for the AHL Albany Devils is Jacob Josefson, who has 6 points in as many games but the team only has 14 goals in 6 games. On a positive note, they have only allowed 14 goals in 6 games for an even goal differential.

4. Scarlett Finally Hits Twine

Though he’s been looking good recording a goal and 8 assists in 14 games played with the Swift Current Broncos, Reece Scarlett has been a combined -51 for the WHL Swift Current Broncos over the prior 2 seasons.

5. Future in Net After Brodeur?

Keith Kinkaid is giving his team a chance to win so far despite a 1-3-0 record. He has a 2.27GAA, 0.913SV%, and 1 shutout in 4GP in the AHL
